2012 New TaylorMade RocketBallz Irons for Sale
TaylorMade Golf, today introduced RocketBallz irons, a progressive and dynamic set engineered to deliver effortless distance and a higher and straighter ball flight. This winning combination of distance and accuracy makes the new RBZ iron a game-changer and positions to be one of the greatest iron sets in company history.
The RBZ irons progressive head shape offers hollow long irons, cavity back middle irons, while the short irons and wedges are a smaller and more compact clubhead design. In fact, the short irons hardly appear game improvement-like at all. The entire set is visually appealing and easy to hit. From address, the topline looks a little heavy, but you really hardly notice it. The color combination is unique which features a dull steel finish with black cavity and neon green accents. I’ve heard grumblings about the color combination, however I like the neon green, and besides, the green is not visible at address and has no visual affect on playability.
Features:
Thin, fast-flexing face and the COR up to the USGA limit, promotes high ball speed and long distance.
Re-engineered face structure with Toe-Bar located at the upper-toe area controls face-flexion to direct shots straightforward for improved accuracy.
New vibration and sound control system specially designed for thin-faced irons promotes exceptional feel and sound.
ATV soles in Attack, Sand and Lob wedges promote remarkable versatility allowing you to play six key scoring zone shots.
Every clubhead is individually engineered to promote the optimum combination of launch angle, ball speed and spin-rate.
TaylorMade touts the RBZ Max as "our longest iron ever" and it has the advanced engineering to back it up. Each iron is individually designed with a two-piece metalwood-inspired construction. The thickness of the faces depends on the iron, with a thicker face for the pitching wedge and a thinner one for the 6 iron. The thinnest face belongs to the 4 iron.
As face thickness decreases, its speed increases. Speed is enhanced with the efficient energy transfer created by the tungsten sole weighting, which lowers and centers the CG. The head is draw-biased to promote swing speeds. Add up these speed enhancements and you get incredible distance unmatched by any other TaylorMade irons. The RBZ Max is also the easiest to hit and draw of all the TaylorMade irons.
